Stimmt ja.  fröhlich

Auch der Roman "Harvard Square" von Andre Aciman, den ich vor 2 Monaten gelesen habe, spielt in Boston & Cambridge und fehlt in der Liste.

Bestimmt fehlen noch viele weitere....ich sags ja wiki und seine Listen.  Oh mann

Nicht vergessen darf man auch die Detektivreihe "Patrick Kenzie und Angela deGennaro-Reihe"[/i] von Dennis Lehane nicht, die ebenfalls komplett in Boston spielen. Übrigens, eine wirkliche Leser-Empfehlung für alle, die auch "Spenser" gerne lesen. Auch schön, dass Lehane und Parker oftmals dieselben Örtlichkeiten für ihre Romane benutzen. Lehane schreibt ja auch sehr viel seiner Romane um Boston - wie auch Parker es tat.

Ich habe erst einen Lehane Roman gelesen, aber der hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Er war ja auch einer der Autoren im "In Pursuit of Spenser" Buch, wo er schrieb dass seine Romane nur selten in den Gegenden von Boston spielen, wo auch die Parker's spielen. Lehane fixiert sich mehr auf "Dorchester", während es bei Parker mehr die Back Bay war und ist.

Hmm...vllt. ja auch nur Einbildung von mir, aber Strassennamen und gewisse Örtlichkeiten wurden auch bei Spenser öfters genannt, deswegen meine Vermutung....aber da Lehane es ja selbst abstreitet, habe ich das wohlk nur hineininterpretiert, als ich den einen oder anderen Strassennamen gelesen hatte.

Das kann gut sein, da natürlich auch Spenser mal Dorchester und umliegende Plätze besucht (wenn auch nur selten zB in "Lullaby") und Lehane's Helden werden sich bestimmt auch mal in anderen Gegenden in Boston aufhalten, als nur in Dorchester oder Roxbury.
