John Bloom (February 19, 1944 – January 15, 1999) was an American actor

Career

Standing at 7' 4" (224 cm) tall, he is most famous for his roles as Frankenstein's Monster in the low-budget horror movie Dracula vs. Frankenstein, and the unfortunate recipient in The Incredible 2-Headed Transplant.

He also had a role in The Dark then parts in Bachelor Party, The Hills Have Eyes Part II, Harry and the Hendersons, and Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country followed. He played the blacksmith "Tiny" on the TV series "Paradise" and "Guns of Paradise."

Bloom died from heart failure brought on by his immense height on January 15, 1999 in his home city of Los Angeles.

In  der Folge Paradiesische Zustände (Boomtown) Staffel 2, Folge 10 erfährt man erstmals Tinys Nachnamen :) Witzigerweise lautet er auch Bloom, wer sein zu spielender Schauspieler John Bloom.

In der Folge "Nur der Schatten eines Zweifels" erfuhr man, das Tiny einen heute 14jährigen behinderten Sohn hat. Seine Frau Jenny verliess ihn nach der Geburt, als sie sah, dass der gemeinsame Sohn behindert sei. Das muß also 1878 gewesen sein. Nach der Folge beschloss Tiny, zu seinem Sohn nach Sacramento zu fahren, um ihn nach 14 Jahren zu treffen.

In der Folge "Es war ein langer tag" (S03E12) stirbt Tiny, als er bei einer Schlägerei durchs Fenster krachte und kurze Zeit später tot zusammenbrach - doch nur für kurze Zeit. Durch eine merkwürdige Kraft wird er als eine Art göttlicher Heiler wieder zum Leben erweckt. Als er im Fortverlauf der Folge von einem Esel getreten wurde, konnte sich Tiny an nichts mehr erinnern was in der Zeit passiert war nund hatte auch seine "Gabe" nicht mehr
