The City of Angels is falling apart, and crime pervades the city to the core. The mayor is corrupt, the police are inept, the city needs a figure to take control of the situation. Then in the light of day Darcy Walker is a cop, but in the dark of night she becomes the Black Scorpion. She does with a mash what she can't do with a badge. This is vigilante justice, old school style.

The Black Scorpion's real name is Darcy Walker, played by Michelle Lintel. She lives in Angel City (a fictionalized version of Los Angeles), where she works as a police detective. Darcy's father was shot by the city's crooked district attorney. The D.A. was arrested, but the charges were suspiciously dropped. That was when Darcy decided to take to the streets as the vigilante, Black Scorpion. In the original Corman films, the role of Darcy was played by Joan Severance. In the series, she is a red-headed enforcer with a badge who enforces the law more efficiently without the badge as her crime-fighting alter-ego, Black Scorpion. She appears to be a big fan of the color black, a fact she made clear during an interview after being asked with such a trivial question which would explain the color of her costume. However, as shown in the first episode, her choice of the scorpion relates to an old fable about a scorpion trying to cross a river, which her father told her.

Apart from being an excellent hand-to-hand fighter and an expert with computers, Black Scorpion has no superpowers. She does, however, have access to a large assortment of weapons and gadgets, her best known weapon being her "Scorpionmobile," a high-tech car with unique features activated via voice command and with a disguise capability similar to the "Defender" from Viper. She also wears a ring that shoots powerful blasts of energy and allows her to change into the Black Scorpion costume by converting "to an atomic level" whatever clothes she's wearing into the said attire.

Diese Serie wurde in Deutschland nie ausgestrahlt. In den USA gibts auch nur eine Staffel mit 22 Episoden davon. Kennt die Serie jemand von euch?

Kenne die Serie zwar nicht, hört sich aber interssant an. Und ADAM WEST spielte da auch mit? Muss ich unbedingt mal anschauen

Da muss ich auch passen, auch noch nie was von gehört. Könnte aber ganz gut sein, vielleicht schaue ich mal rein.

Kenne ich auch nicht die Serie. Hmm, da wollte wohl L.A auch endlich mal erwähnt werden, wenn es um Superhelden mit/ohne Superkräfte geht.

Sie hat also allerhand Waffen und Gadgets zur Verfügung und fährt ein "Scorpionmobile".  Also an "irgendwen" erinnert mich das? Ich komme schon noch darauf  :totlach:

Mich erinnert das auch an so einen spitzohrigen Typen mit gelben "Leatherman" Gürtel. :D

Auf YouTube hab ich da kurze Szenen gesehen wie Eine, eine Superschurkin wurde und :totlach: und ein paar Kampfszenen. Hat mir überhaupt nicht gefallen. Mies choreographierte Kämpfe, billiges Setting, schlechter Humor. billige Kostüme. Wie die Comics sind weiß ich und schaut euch mal dieses schlechte Two Face, Joker Rip-Off an Der Typ mit dem halben Clowns Gesicht  heißt Prankster Gott sieht das scheiße aus. Er soll von den Toten wieder auferstanden sein laut englischer Episodenbeschreibung.

Also da wird sich ja echt dreist an Batman bedient, ist diese Serie vielleicht eher eine Parodie?

Kenne die Serie nicht, aber was MacCormick gepostet hat, interessiert sie mich auch nicht.

Wenn ich mir das Bild genauer anschaue, interessiert mir eher der Bereich auf der rechten Seite (unten)... :lechz:
