Dieser Film ist für Hawaii 5-0-Fans in zweifacher Hinsicht etwas besonderes:

• - Jack Lord (der bei diesem Film neben seinem Cameoauftritt auch Regie führte) hat in diesem Film seinen letzten Auftritt als Schauspieler.
• - Moe Keale spielt auch in diesem Film seine aus Hawaii 5-0 bekannte Rolle des Truck Kealoha. Somit ist dieser Film ein Crossover zu Hawaii 5-0.
• - Dieser Film sollte eigentlich ein Pilotfilm für eine Serie sein. Eine Serienorder wurde allerdings nie in Auftrag gegeben.

Inhalt (kopiert aus imdb.com):
A Russian submarine sank somewhere near Hawaii. The government sees this as an opportunity to learn what they can from the submarine. However, they don't want to let the Russians know that they found it or had time to analyze their equipment, so they recruit a salvage company to get the sub and what salvageable material there may be. However, the Russians must try and do everything they can to make sure that none of their materials or equipment could be analyzed by the Americans

Ist mir völlig unbekannt....vorher noch nie was von gehört. Klingt aber interessant. Merkwürdig nur, weil der von 1980 ist und McGarrett Gouvernor ist, 1980 endete ja auch 5-0- Denn hätte er darin schon "befördert" werden müssen....
