01. THE BEGINNING


Das Buch ist als einziges auch in Deutschland erschienen. Es ist der Roman zum Pilotfilm.
Interessant an dem Buch finde ich, es ist aus der Sicht von SAM geschrieben, als in der ICH-Erzhlung.

Inhalt (Klappentext):
It is the mid 1990s. Sam Beckett,a brilliant scientist, is the creator of the QL project - the possibility of moving back and forth through the years of your own lifetime.
But one night his project goes terribly wrong, and Sam is transported back to 1956 by mistake. When he wakes up, he is suffering from amnesia, in the body of a test pilot Capt. Tom Stratton - which is a problem, as he doesnt know how to fly.
When the projects computer hits on the theory that God, or Time, or Something was waiting for Sams QL to correct a mistake in Strattons life, Sma must find out what the mistake was, an put things right. Only then he be able to return to the future.

02. THE GHOST AND THE GUMSHOE



Dieser Roman beinhaltet die beiden Folgen:
A PORTRAIT FOR TROIAN und
PLAY IT AGAIN; SEYMOUR

Also vom Inhalt her ist der Roman demnach bekannt, was einen aber dennoch nciht vom Lesen abhalten sollte, zumal es den Roman nie auf deutsch gegeben hat.

Zuerst springt Sam in Dr. Timothy Mintz, um Troian das Leben zu retten. Im Anschluss daran wird er zu Nick Allen, einem Privatdetektiv.

Auch dieser Roman ist wieder in der ICH-Erzhlung verfasst und wurde wie, THE BEGINNING, von JULIE ROBITAILLE geschreiben.

03. CARNY KNOWLEDGE / THE NOVEL



Dies ist der erste Roman, der auf der Serie basiert, aber der im Anschluss an QL geschreiben und somit nie verfilmt wurde.

08. SEARCH AND RESCUE



The thunder rolls over the desert in New Mexico and Sam beckett leaps uinto a man named Philip Payne, a doctor involved in the search for a plane that went down in the wilds of British Columbia.
The lighning flashes and project observer Al Calavicci als leaps, into a passenger on the plane.
Now Sam must race against time and the forces of nature for the sake of a father and daughter at bitter odds - and for the life of his friend

09. RANDOM MEASURES



Sams got in trouble. He has leaped into a young, half-breed Indian names Wickie - with n o background, no mission and no word from Al.
Meanwhile Al has found someting more interesting than Sams mission. A beautiful woman named Janna...Jenna Clavicci. As in Mrs. Al Calavicci.
But marital bliss my be short-lived as time runs out for Sam. And Al must make a deadly choice. because helping Sam could change more than Wickiess future. It could erase Janna from his life forever....
