Converanstalter Rogue Events insolvent!

Rogue Events, einer der größeren Converanstalter in England, ist insolvent.

Rogue Events war verantwortlich für Cons wie Asylum, Insurgence, City of Heroes, ....

Allgemein wurden Rogue Cons als sehr chaotisch beschrieben.


Folgendes Statement wurde veröffentlicht:

Company Statement:

WCM Events Ltd ceased trading on Monday 3 July 2017. The company will be entering into an insolvency procedure and all creditors will be notified in due course.

Director Statement:

I am truly sorry and heartbroken to have let down the attendees, staff and volunteers, as well as the guests in the way I have done at insurgence 9. I came on board in a desperate hope to be able to re-build the events into something great for everyone, and I failed. This was due to many factors. I made bad decisions. I was inexperienced. Nothing I can say will take back what has happened or make anything right. I can only apologise to people with everything I have. I am so deeply sorry.

Oh, da wird schimmi sich ja freuen, dass ihre Con gerade noch so durchging...

ja - musste auch zuerst an schimmi denken...

da werden auch viele Leute viel Geld verloren haben, die Tickets, AGs oder Fotos für die zig Cons gebucht hatten, die bei Rogue angekündigt waren...

Oh, da wird schimmi sich ja freuen, dass ihre Con gerade noch so durchging...

Ich hatte wirklich verdammtes Glück,dass Asylum 18 noch so reibungslos ablief und die Gäste alle da waren etc......

Asylum 19 im Oktober dagegen endete im Chaos mit Polizeieinsatz.

In jeder Hinsicht hatte ich wirklich sehr großes Glück und die Con hat mir so gut gefallen.

Der Hammer ist nun,dass der US Veranstalter Creation im Mai 2018 das erste Mal eine Con in Birmingham abhalten wird.
